This is a Summer Solstice Dance Ceremony. You are invited to attend as an observer and witness this sacred cultural gathering. As you sit on the land in community with others, you will experience healing through connection, the frequency of the drum, and the dancers who offer their bodies as living expressions of history, prayer, and tradition through dance.
Following the ceremony, there will also be a special presentation by an African dance group.
If you are invited by me, I kindly ask that you remain respectful and fully present during the ceremony. Please also bring an offering to share with the group, as we will gather for a communal meal afterward.
This is a free cultural experience open to the public. Families and people of all ages are welcome.
Please bring:
• A blanket or chair (to sit on grass)
• Water
• Sun protection and comfortable outdoor attire
This is an outdoor event held under natural conditions, so please prepare accordingly to remain comfortable throughout the experience.
This gathering is especially meaningful to me, as it will also be the debut of my Indigenous regalia. I would be honored to share this experience and moment with those who feel called to attend.
If you would like to attend with me, please join my GroupMe group chat for additional details and coordination.
